最近媒体一直热烈讨论的vivo APEX究竟是什么来头?

本文头图来源:AndroidAuthority 这两天vivo在WMC 2018期间展示了一款名为APEX的概念机,这款98%屏占比的机器让国外媒体先炸了锅,Forbes,The Next Web等大牌媒体都对其进行了大篇幅报道,很快国内媒体论坛也都热烈跟进。 除去“全面屏”这个大热概念对整体低迷的手机行业有着强心针一般的提振作用,作为一款尚不知能否量产、何时量产的概念机,APEX为啥能掀起这么大的波澜? 虎嗅也跟着凑凑热闹,发现事情并不简单,APEX这次的“口碑爆炸”,vivo应该早就胸有成竹: 一是全面屏市场鱼龙混杂,98%的屏占比加上针对其做的硬件革新在业内占得先机; 二是作为新一代全面屏代表,APEX不仅会给vivo的口碑和品牌形象带来改变,还吹响了国内智能机新一轮竞争的号角,2018手机格局又将会有新改变。 APEX除了占比98%的屏幕,到底还有什么值得看的技术新方向? 虽然智能机必会走向98%、99%甚至100%的全面屏,但外媒这次给出APEX“不可忽视的创新”评价,却绝不仅仅给这块屏幕——而是其在技术上为曾制约真正“全面屏”的几个难点给出了比较靠谱的解题思路。 1. 屏幕指纹解锁 2017年MWC 2017,vivo展示了可解决全面屏解锁问题的屏幕隐形指纹技,随后迅速把这一技术运用于已经量产发售的vivo X20 Plus 屏幕指纹版上,又在APEX上进行改进。 屏下指纹解锁(照片来源:The Verge) 根据上手媒体的形容,在APEX这块5.99 寸 OLED, 2160*1080分辨率,屏占比98%的屏幕上,指纹录入和识别速度与vivo X20 Plus 屏幕指纹版相仿,主要区别在APEX 可以在屏幕接近一半的面积中随意实现屏下指纹解锁(X20 只能在屏幕指定的一块小区域内实现),这样大面积解锁更加便利,也支持开启双指纹识别解锁模式(双指纹同时在屏幕上按解锁手机),虽然目前双指纹的实际应用场景还有待挖掘,但不妨先看作为下一项黑科技做技术储备。 2. 升降式的前置摄像头 为了实现屏幕占比最大化,APEX上采用了升降式摄像头——当然这不能算是首创,升降式摄像头之前已经在...

Vivo X20 Plus UD With In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Is Now Official, Launch Set For 24th January

Earlier last year, Vivo was the first company to claim that they were in the process of integrating the fingerprint sensor under the display of their smartphone. It was a highly anticipated unveiling and one that would set the precedence for all the smartphone makers across the market. The company finally showcased a working prototype of the phone at CES 2018. This has changed, however, on 24th January 2018, not a prototype or a concept, a consumer-ready device with a fingerprint sensor placed inside the display. As per reports, the phone is expected to be on sale by 1st of February. The Vivo X20 Plus, initially called the Vivo X20 Plus UD where UD stood for Under-Display, has been leaked multiple times where almost all of its specifications were revealed.
